Increase recycle value
Pulled a lot of wiring from an old house during a project to bring it up to code. Used this tool to strip open cables in various condition ranging from 1956 to 2004 versions. It handled braided, paper packed, and various versions of plastic casing. Also used it to strip insulation off conductors for 14, 12, and 10 gauge #1 copper and 8 and 6 gauge #2 copper. Some insulation was hard or brittle from age or too many heat cycles. Since it's manually adjusted, one needs to get a sense for blade depth: too shallow and the insulation won't peel off; too deep and the copper will be nicked and scored, which must dull the blade and makes the bare copper harder to handle. I estimate it has increased the recycle more than $80 already and at the end of the project maybe more than $250. It is a bit time consuming but my time doing a simple task is not that valuable. It's a good exchange for me. Haven't tried using the drill yet. Only hand cranking.

Great wire stripper!
Yah it works way better than i thought it was going to work... saves me sooo much time and hassle! Definitely recommend. Only con i can think of is the constant adjustment you have to do when stripping different size wire. But thats not that big a deal... once u get the hang of the adjustment mechanics its awesome!

Manual wire stripping made easy
My wife uses wire for crafts and it use to take me forever to strip enough of it for her to make it worth it. This wire stripper made wire stripping so easy! If you plan to strip a lot of wire I recommend this product!
