    FAQ

    ARE THEY IMPACT-RATED?

Made from impact-grade Cr-Mo steel for compatible square-drive impact tools.

No. They change drive size only.

No. These are step-up adapters only.

Not directly. A drill or hex impact driver needs a separate hex-to-square adapter.

They help stabilize and retain the socket during positioning.

Designed for standard square-drive sockets. Always confirm proper fit before use.

    • Set of Four Compact Adapters for Tight‑Access Work

I have another set like these, but this one includes an additional size I didn’t already have (3/4" to 1"), which makes it more useful for the larger sockets I occasionally need to work with. These adapters let me use my 3/4" and 1/2" drive breaker bars and ratchets on bigger sockets, and they also help in situations where I can break a fastener free with a combination wrench but don’t have enough room to keep turning it with that wrench or with a full‑size ratchet. In those cases, switching to a very small 1/4" ratchet with one of these adapters makes it much easier to finish removing the fastener. All four adapters are extremely compact and only add a few millimeters to the overall height of the ratchet‑and‑socket stack. Retention comes mainly from the two strong magnets in each adapter. They provide what I would describe as medium retention to both the ratchet and the socket. There is a hole that can line up with the retention ball on the ratchet, but in actual use the magnets seem to be doing most of the work. The size markings are ink‑printed, and each adapter also has a painted color band. These adapters feel like a versatile solution to a geometry problem that comes up often when working in confined spaces and needing to mix drive sizes without adding unnecessary bulk. They are good quality and easy to use.

    • This is something I always wished someone made and finally found it.

These adapters allow you to use a smaller drive ratchet on a larger drive socket without taking up much space. This set uses very strong magnets to hold the socket in place and you need the included tool to get the adapters apart when nested. This set holds the 3/8” and 1/2” drive socket even while shaking the ratchet, but the one for the 3/4” drive socket could use stronger magnets to hold the socket on more securely. I don’t own a 1” drive socket but assume that adapter would need stronger magnets as well. People in the reviews complained about them being difficult to separate when nested, but I found If you set the nested adapters on its side and push the tool down to wedge it between the sections they come apart easily. It was a lot more difficult when trying to do it while holding the nested adapters in my hand and using the tool as a pry bar.

    • pretty good set with strong magnets.

A pretty good socket adapter set, I've had a few of these type sets over the years, they are basically sleaves that change your smaller socket to a bigger size socket, provided you can seperate them and keep them seperated, especially the magnetic ones, otherwise they get a little rusty from the humidity and fuse together. This brand is very thick, weighty and tough and feel impact ready, They are magnetic and came stacked together making them a bit hard to seperate even though there was a bit of oil on them. once you get them apart you can really see their potential and usefulness, as they can turn a 1/2 drive into a 3/4 drive if you need to. they have clearly marked sizes on them and are color coded around the edges which is a nice touch. The magnet is pretty strong on these to the point where i had to pry them apart with a flathead, and afterwards i just kept the apart. So if you are needing a set of these, I'd say this one is a good buy...
