You've got questions? We've got the answers.
What type of steel are the bits made of?
What type of steel are the bits made of?
They are forged from S2 alloy steel. This material is significantly harder and more shock-resistant than standard Chrome-Vanadium (CR-V), meaning the bits won't easily round off or strip your screws.
Are the bits standard size, or proprietary?
Are the bits standard size, or proprietary?
The set uses standard1/4-inch hex bits. This means you can use our S2 bits in your power drills, or use your existing hex bits with our T-handle ratchet.
How does the adjustable handle work?
How does the adjustable handle work?
The handle is detachable and modular. You can slot the driver into the center for a high-torque T-handle configuration, or into the end for a standard straight-driver reach in tight spaces.
Does the ratchet mechanism require maintenance?
Does the ratchet mechanism require maintenance?
No. The fine-tooth ratcheting mechanism is sealed and pre-lubricated. Just keep it reasonably clean and store it in the provided case, and it will operate smoothly for years.
